The Stuart Apartments are located in an ancient building owned since late 1800 by a Scottish family and still managed by his descendant Giacomo. The building lay by the old city walls and was probably built in late 1400 as a garrison post by the (no longer existing nowadays) city’s West Gate. The apartments enjoy a prime location within the town, providing easy access to all amenities.
Giacomo Stuart, your host, was born in Montepulciano. He spent his early years and completed his college studies in Tuscany. After obtaining a degree in international law from universities in London and Brussels, he worked for almost a decade in the legal services of the European Union across various European cities.
In the early 2000s, Giacomo returned to his native Tuscany to focus on renovating his family’s property and managing other resorts in the region. He founded RealTuscany©, a property management company, in 2000, followed by the “Politian Apartments” in 2003 and “Montefelix Property Management” (www.montefelix.com) in 2021. Since the beginning of the Casa Cornacchi resort (www.cornacchi.com), where he has been organizing successful events and weddings since 2002, he has been the manager. Additionally, he works as a marketing consultant for various other companies. Giacomo divides his time between Tuscany and Catalunya, Spain. Apart from his love for the region in which he lives, Giacomo’s passions include traveling, particularly to remote areas, and exploring cuisine and wine, which he deeply appreciates.
